I am going to high school now. As math has always been my weakness, I purchased the course material in advance. I am plan on learning a couple of topics before the classes begin. I have used a number of programs to come to grip with my problems with long division, adding numerators and rational inequalities. Of them, my experience with Algebrator has been the best. All I had to do was to merely key in the problem. Punch the solve button. The reply showed up almost instantly with an easy to comprehend steps indicating how to reach the answer. All, Thanks a lot for the replies that you have given. I just had a look at the Algebrator available at: http://www.algebra-test.com/index.html. The interesting part that I liked was the pay back guarantee that they are extending there. I went ahead and purchased Algebrator . It is really user friendly and proves to be a remarkable tool for Algebra 1. |

I remember having difficulties with greatest common factor, graphing and hyperbolas. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Algebra 1 and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
