I always used to be confused in College Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Remedial Algebra. I have tried out numerous software. I would without any doubt say that Algebrator has helped me to grapple with my problems on linear algebra, proportions and angle suplements. All I did was to merely key in the problem. The answer appeared almost straight away showing all the steps to the answer. It was quite easy to follow. You can download this software from http://www.algebra-test.com/resources.html. There are some demos available to see if it is really what you are looking for and if you find it useful, you can get a licensed version for a small amount.

Algebrator is a very remarkable software and is surely worth a try. You will also find lot of interesting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can swear that it has made learning math much more enjoyable.
