Hi there I have almost taken the decision to hirea algebra private teacher, because I've been having a lot of stress due to algebra homework lately. Every day when I come home from school I spendhours and hours with my math homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not certain if a math private teacher is worth it, since it's very costly, and who knows, maybe it's not even so helpful. Does anyone know anything about study guide and practice workbook - prentice hall mathematics: algebra 1 that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding midpoint of a line,multiplying matrices or quadratic inequalities? Any ideas will be much appreciated.

This story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was good in algebra for many years, when I started Remedial Algebra there were a lot of algebra topics that seemed confusing. I remember I got a very bad mark when I took the exam on study guide and practice workbook - prentice hall mathematics: algebra 1 . Now I don't have this problem anymore, I can solve anything without problem, even algebraic signs and algebra formulas. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a teacher, because I heard of Algebrator from a a colleague. I have been using it since then whenever I found something hard.

Algebrator is a very user friendly product and is certainly worth a try. You will also find lot of interesting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can swear that it has made learning math much more enjoyable.
