how to find the vertex algebraically

Hi everybody out there, I am caught up here with a set of math questions that I find really hard to answer. I am taking Algebra 1 course and need help with how to find the vertex algebraically . Do you know of any good quality math help product? To be frank, I am a little skeptical about how useful these software products can be but I really don’t know how to solve these questions and thought it is worth a try.

There is a utility by name Algebrator offered at all the three sites. This tool would provide all the details that you would need on the topic Algebra 1. I remember having problems with y-intercept, subtracting exponents and exponential equations. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Intermediate algebra, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
