how to solve quadratics equations on texas instruments

Hi math gurus. This is my first post in any forum. I struggle a lot with how to solve quadratics equations on texas instruments problems. No matter how hard I try, I just am not able to crack any equation in less than an hour. If things go this way, I fear I will not be able to get through my math exam.

I remember having often faced difficulties with greatest common factor, factoring and roots. A truly great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Algebra 2, Remedial Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
