solving algebra equations with square roots

Hello all, I have a very important test coming up in math soon and I would really appreciate if any of you can help me solve some problems in solving algebra equations with square roots . I am ok in math otherwise but problems in leading coefficient baffle me and I am at a loss. It would be great if you can let me know of a reasonably priced math help tool that I can use?

Don’t sound so dismayed. I know exactly how you are feeling right now. When I was a student, we didn’t have much of a hope in in similar situations, but today thanks to Algebrator my son is doing wonderfully well in his math classes. He used to have problems in topics such as solving algebra equations with square roots and quadratic equations but all his queries were answered by this one simple to use tool known as Algebrator . Please do not take me wrong. I am searching for no shortcut. It’s just that I don’t seem to get enough time to try solving problems again and again. I will use the software as a guide only. Where can I find it?

Thanks pals for all your responses. I have got the Algebrator from http://www.algebra-test.com/guarantee.html. Just got it set and started using it. Its superb. The exercise problems can test the real expertise that we possess on College Algebra. I am thankful to you all!
