6th Grade Pre Algebra

Hey dudes, I am about one week through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to comprehend the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with 6th grade pre algebra. Could somebody out there please enlighten me with quadratic formula, sum of cubes and linear equations. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of understanding topics like quadratic equations or powers painlessly , please get back to me Thanks heaps

I know how tough it can be if you are not getting anywhere with 6th grade pre algebra. It’s a bit hard to give you advice without more details of your problems . But if you don’t want to pay for a tutor, then why not just use some piece of software and how you go . There are countless programs out there, but one you should think about would be Algebra Master. It is pretty helpful plus it is quite affordable .

Thanks for the pointer. Algebra Master is actually a life-saving math software. I was able to get answers to problems I had about interval notation, proportions and solving a triangle. You only need to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the explanation you need. You can use it for so many things, like Intermediate algebra, Algebra 2 and Algebra 1. I think everyone should use Algebra Master.
