Hey everyone I am about two weeks through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with adding subtracting equations. Could somebody out there please help me with syntehtic division, binomial formula and hypotenuse-leg similarity. I can’t afford to pay for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of mastering topics like adding numerators or factoring effectively, please reply to my post Thanks

I know how difficult it can be if you are a bit lost with adding subtracting equations. It’s a bit hard to give you advice without more details of your circumstances . But if you rather not get a tutor, then why not just use some piece of software and see if it helps . There are numerous programs out there, but one you should get a hold of would be Algebra Master. It is pretty useful plus it is not expensive .

Thanks for the tip . Algebra Master is truly a pretty good algebra software. I was able to get answers to queries I had about rational expressions, function range and angle suplements. You only need to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the explanation you need. You can use it for any number of [algebra things, like College Algebra, Algebra 1 and Intermediate algebra. I would highly recommend Algebra Master.

I remember having difficulties with exponent rules, inequalities and rational inequalities. Algebra Master is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Algebra 1 and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
