Fractions W/ Unlike Denominators

Hi math gurus! I am about one week through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to comprehend the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with fractions w/ unlike denominators. Could somebody out there please help me with adding fractions, hypotenuse-leg similarity and radical inequalities. I can’t afford to pay for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of understanding topics like rational expressions or factoring polynomials without fuss , please let me know Thanks heaps

I know how tough it can be if you are having problems with fractions w/ unlike denominators. It’s a bit hard to give you advice without a better idea of your problems . But if you can’t afford a tutor, then why not just use some software and see what you think. There are myriads of programs out there, but one you should think about would be Algebra Master. It is pretty helpful plus it is not expensive .

Thanks for the advice . Algebra Master is really a pretty good software. I was able to get answers to difficulties I had about linear inequalities, difference of cubes and graphing inequalities. You only need to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the explanation you need. You can use it for so many things, like Basic Math, College Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I think everyone should use Algebra Master.

Algebra Master is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. It is a truly a great piece of math software. I remember of going through difficulties with slope, gcf and adding exponents. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
