Hi, I am a senior in high school and need major help in solving equations with square roots. My math grades are terrible and I have decided to do something about it. I am looking for some software that will let me enter a question and provides detailed step by step solution; basically it must take me through the entire thing. I really need to improve my grades so please help me out.

I understand your problem because I had the same issues when I went to high school. I was very weak in math, especially in solving equations with square roots and my grades were poor. I started using Algebra Master to help me solve problems as well as with my homework and eventually I started getting A’s in math. This is an extremely good product because it explains the problems in a step-by-step manner so we understand them well. I am certain that you will find it helpful too.

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebra Master. This is not exactly a tutoring tool but it provides solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this product is that it is very user friendly. There are a lot of demos given under various topics which are quite useful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.

I remember having difficulties with binomial formula, geometry and roots. Algebra Master is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Basic Math and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

You can buy it from http://www.softmath.com/algebra-test/order.htm. I don’t think there are too many system requirements; you can just download and start using it.
