Hi guys
I am about halfway through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with solving quadratic polynome. Could somebody out there please lend a hand with fractional exponents, mixed numbers and x-intercept. I can’t afford to hire a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of learning topics like matrices or trinomials effectively, please help me out

I know how annoying it can be if you are not getting anywhere with solving quadratic polynome. It’s a bit hard to help without a better idea of your circumstances . But if you don’t want to pay for a tutor, then why not just use some program and see how it goes . There are numerous programs out there, but one you should think about would be Algebra Master. It is pretty easy to use plus it is pretty cheap .

Thanks for the pointer. Algebra Master is indeed a great software. I was able to get answers to difficulties I had about quadratic formula, 3x3 system of equations and sum of cubes. You just have to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the explanation you need. You can use it for any number of [algebra things, like Intermediate algebra, Pre Algebra and Algebra 1. I think everyone should use Algebra Master.

Algebra Master is the program that I have used through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, College Algebra and Remedial Algebra. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with graphing function, quadratic equations and interval notation. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
