Guys, I am in need of help on linear algebra, factoring polynomials, equation properties and syntehtic division. Since I am a novice to Intermediate algebra, I really want to understand the fundamentals of College Algebra completely. Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can begin reading the basics? I have a class test next week. |

Hi Dude, Algebrator offered at the website http://www.algebra-test.com/features.html can be of great assistance to you. I am a math tutor who give private tuitions to students and I suggest Algebrator to my students since that helps them a lot when they sit to work out their math problems by themselves at home. |

Hey, Thanks for the instantaneous answer. But could you give me the details of reliable websites from where I can make the purchase? Can I get the Algebrator cd from a local book mart available in my area? |

I remember having problems with trigonometric functions, proportions and slope. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, College Algebra and Algebra 1. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
