I've always wanted to learn holt algebra, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've browsed the internet for some useful learning resources, and checked the local library for some books, but all the data seems to be directed to people who already know the subject. Is there any resource that can help new students as well?

Extra classes are no better than taking your routine classes. If you have a doubt, you need to makes an effort to remove it. I would not suggest extra classes , but would ask you to try Algebrator. It will surely solve your problem concerning holt algebra to a large extent.

A extraordinary piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving lcf, hyperbolas and subtracting fractions. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes Remedial Algebra, Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
